Delaware Report Repair by Lexington Law

You may have heard that it's possible to delete negative items from your credit report, but you may have wondered if it's actually possible in Delaware . Even if you acknowledge that it is possible to delete items from your history, you may think that it's the type of thing that rarely happens or that it only happens in the most extreme circumstances. The truth is that deleting items from your credit report is possible (and legal) and at Lexington Law, we have the statistics to prove that it happens every day. In fact in the second quarter of 2006 we deleted an average of 1,665 negative items from our clients credit reports every day! That averages out to over one deletion per minute! Our total number of deletions for 2005 was 665,366, and if anything the conservative nature of our data gathering strategies mean that these statistics under report the actual number of deletions!

So how exactly do we accomplish all of this? The short answer is that we use the federal laws that govern the credit reporting industry to dispute negative items on our clients' credit reports. The more comprehensive answer is that we rely on the Fair Credit Reporting Act (15 USC 1681 et seq.) and related laws that govern how credit reporting agencies like TransUnion, Experian, and Equifax acquire and use the information of individual consumers. Each of these credit bureaus collects information about consumers from their creditors and other sources and supplies it to other creditors. These for profit businesses supply information about your history to lenders, mortgage companies, and even prospective employers and land lords! For that reason, if you have negative marks on your credit report, you can be stuck with a higher interest rate on your new mortgage, or be turned down for a mortgage completely in Delaware . Your FICO score may also indicate that you aren't responsible enough to hold the new job your applying for, or that you won't make your rental payments in Delaware. For all of these reasons, your credit report is important and can have some major negative consequences if the negative items on it aren't taken care of.

The credit bureaus are interested in making money by acquiring information about individual consumers so that they can turn around and sell it. What the credit bureaus aren't particularly interested in is whether the information is accurate and error free. The Fair Credit Reporting Act attempts to solve this problem by placing the credit bureaus under the obligation of investigating items on consumers' credit reports that are brought before them for dispute. Unfortunately the law also leaves the credit reporting bureaus ways to get out of performing the costly investigations.

That's where Lexington Law comes in. While you could legally bring negative items on your credit report before the credit reporting bureaus for dispute, you're likely to be brushed off in the interest of the credit bureau's profit and efficiency. On the other hand, we at Lexington Law have the legal knowledge and resources to force the credit reporting agencies to give your case the attention that it deserves. In fact, we're so sure of our ability to produce results that our service comes with a warranty! All this, with a our risk free refund policy.

Don't let the apathy of the credit reporting bureaus interfere with your ability to get the most out of life in Delaware. Sign up for credit report cleaning service from Lexington Law and let us share our success with you.
